The First event planned to launch CATALAN WINES USA took place at Jaleo Restaurant in Washington DC, on August 23rd at 3PM. The event was to press, VIPs from US and Spain, distributors, importers, wholesalers and store owners, sommeliers and chefs that were able to share a cultural experience while learning about the wines and tasting excellent Spanish tapas.
Most of the owners and representatives of the wineries participating in CATALAN WINES USA 2010 travelled to Washington DC for the opening event and they attended the tasting and wine presentation.
We are proud to say that the event was a total success. We had an incredible attendance of over 100 visitors, all of them wine professionals!
The 2 days after the event we had more than 30 one on one meetings arranged between catalan winery owners and importers & distributors from the Wdc area.
