Tasting Notes
Cherry color with a deep robe. High aromatic intensity, conserving the primary aromas of ripe fruit, combined with tertiary aromas typical of ageing in French, Hungarian and Romanian oak. Well-balanced in the mouth, with fine, fully-integrated tannins that add a firm backbone for good storage in bottle.
“Dried cherry and dark berry aromas are complicated by cola and smoky Indian spices. Chewy and focused on the palate, offering bitter cherry, black raspberry and dark chocolate flavors and an invigorating note of peppery spices. Closes on a smoky, oak note, with a hint of bitter chocolate and youthful tannic grip.” Josh Raynolds (IWC).
